VAA will be utilizing the services of Orange Tree Employment Screening to help complete our background checks. The process will still start with registering for a background check with VAA. You will be notified by email if Orange Tree will be completing your check. If so, Orange Tree will email you a URL that will take you to a secured website to provide additional information they require to complete the check.
Please Note: Orange Tree is formally a consumer reporting agency under U.S. federal law. Thus, Orange Tree will refer to "consumer reports" in its communications. Communications may also refer to activities such as checking employment history. VAA is seeking to customize the communications from Orange Tree, but understand VAA is only doing a background check of criminal records.
